SARA has a dark red-brown color, is well hopped, and spicy at the same time. It has a hearty exclusive special taste with sour undertones, accentuated by a very rich aroma, which both come from the buckwheat.

DISCLAIMER: this is the brown, organic (biologique) version of Sara. Note that all versions of Sara are organic, also if it isn’t mentioned on the bottle.

Láhev 250 ml. Aroma je příjemně minerální s nádechem chmele a lehce citrusu. Pěna je nahnědlé barvy, hrubší konzistence, středně vysoká a nedržící. barva samotného piva je tmavší hnědá a kalná. Chuť má zemitý střed s kvasnicovým nádechem, finiš je jemný, banánový, lehce nakyslí a nedržící. Vcelku se jedná o výtečné, dobře pitelné originální pivo s osvěžující chutí a příjemným aroma.

From a big bottle with my name on it. Six or seven years old. Pours clear dark/medium brown with no head. Tastes like light raisin, apple cider, and wood, pretty tart. Visible sediment. Low/medium body and carbonation. Smells slightly sweet and tart, like cherries and dried fruit.

beige head that disappears fast and completely with lacing. cola clear colour. aroma of detergent, artificial lime, esters and some pear perhaps. taste is sour (like infected), white pepper but not spicy, esters and dark fruit. thin mouthfeel and quite a lot of carbonation. slight gusher after opening even though the beer was well chilled. has some elements that remind a bit of a rocherfort 8, although diluted. bottle 25 cl / best before 2015

pours dark reddish brown with low light latte colored head Aromas of??? Cherries, perfume, wee bit stale, overall intense sweetness Taste is better than aromas. Cherries once again, low carbonation, low to medium bodied, low bitterness. Wee bit watery and quite abrupt ending.

Martinus (3441) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - DEC 5, 2012
Clear dark brown beer, purple hue, white head. Aroma of caramel, cereal, sugar, candy and bubblegum. Sweet flavour, malty, grains, fresh sour touch. Sweet finish, light buckwheat touch.
Was expecting more pronounced buckwheat in aroma and flavour. It is quite drinkable though, albeit not really special imho.
