SARA has a dark red-brown color, is well hopped, and spicy at the same time. It has a hearty exclusive special taste with sour undertones, accentuated by a very rich aroma, which both come from the buckwheat.

DISCLAIMER: this is the brown, organic (biologique) version of Sara. Note that all versions of Sara are organic, also if it isn’t mentioned on the bottle.

Dark ruby color with 1 finger head. Aroma of vinegar and dough. Taste is light sour and metalic. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. I don’t like this one

Aroma is candy sweetness, a unique nuttiness and grainy malts. The flavor is fruit/berries, mild candy sweetness, mild stickiness and a tart/slightly sour finish.

pours dark reddish brown with low light latte colored head Aromas of??? Cherries, perfume, wee bit stale, overall intense sweetness Taste is better than aromas. Cherries once again, low carbonation, low to medium bodied, low bitterness. Wee bit watery and quite abrupt ending.

Clear dark brown beer, purple hue, white head. Aroma of caramel, cereal, sugar, candy and bubblegum. Sweet flavour, malty, grains, fresh sour touch. Sweet finish, light buckwheat touch.
Was expecting more pronounced buckwheat in aroma and flavour. It is quite drinkable though, albeit not really special imho.

750ml bottle - pours dark ruby red with quickly diminishing beige head. Nose is malty (caramel and grain) and a bit spicy. It almost smells like port. Flavor is hoppy (herbs and resin), soggy wheat bread, toasty and a bit like dough with noticeable alcohol. Burpy. Taste is sweet becoming quickly bitter and a little sour. Aftertaste is apples or cherries. Don’t like the graininess. Texture is watery with a bit stickiness. Needs to be paired with fruity pies.

Mahognyfärgad öl med ljusbrunt livligt skum. Doftar inte speciellt mycket. Någon alkoholsötma och antydning av kryddighet. Tråkigheten går igen i smaken. Inga fel, men inget kul.
