jonwell (104), Huntington Beach, California, USA Apr 3, 2005 I liked this one quite a bit. Reminds me of Rogue St. Red, maybe a littler hoppier. Good stuff. BückDich (4603), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Siletz Roadhouse, Siletz
Copper color, lots of lacing. Nose of doughy malts & fragrant hops, nicely sweet & pronounced. Some diacetyl & buttery notes in the flavor. Tasty, finish is creamy, flawed in a good way. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 9, 2005 Amber with an off white, creamy head. Sheet lacing. Sour lemons and bitter caramel aromas. Sour grapes or apples. The flavors follow suit with bitter hops, caramel and a touch of tartness. It does finish leaving a slightly sour note in the mouth though.

mmmm an odd beer all round from the very nice and dare i say sexy screen print label on the bomber..to the taste.
A very nice beer to look at in the glass, amber with a nice sized tan head, attractive carbonation.
the smell is very malty and buttery for some reason this is not unpleasant but intrigueing.
Taste again i get some nice malt then this buttery popcorn flavour which might throw some off..but I like it..after that there is a slight bitterness..that holds on in the throat for a few secs.
Pretty smooth on the palate.
An odd beer..but I liked it.
bhensonb (3131), Woodland, California, USA Jun 26, 2007 Aroma of darkish stone fruit and some caramel. Reddish copper color with a white head that diminished quickly, but seems willing to lace. Medium bodied, light carbonated. Has that citrus sour characteristic of many Siletz ales, followed by medium caramel malt. I’m guessing citrus/fruit hop. It’s well balanced, and the malt and sour diminish in the finish to a very pleasant residue. Tasty.
