Bottle: Deep caramel, somewhat dirty, moderate off-white head, fizzy, dies pretty quick, spotty lacing.   Malt oriented nose, perhaps a slight bit of pine?   Flat tasting malts on the tongue.   Slight hop presense, very slight.   Soft sweetness, some of the aformentioned pine.   Doesn’t seem very big at all, somewhat flat, and a bit stale.   Needs to be more lively.   Needs to be spiced up.   Needs a bit more of a hop bite.   Tiz okay, but seems to me to be lacking as compared to other years.   Body and mouthfeel are... flat.   Will likely rerate down the road.   Next years batch perhaps?

This amber ale poured with a thin beige head, eliciting a musty aroma. The bottle cap was slightly loose and the flavor is very skunky, lieading me to believe that the beer is infected. Either that, or it is not a very good brew. Very citrusy and sour.
