2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
My Bottom Line:
Toasted and caramelized cereals roam within this lager’s lean body, leading to an ever-so-slightly acidic, fruity finish.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam sits atop the hazy amber.
-The soft effervescence and slender sugars make for high drinkability.
-The light fruitiness in the finish is awkward.
-This was not really memorable, nor was it too well executed, imho.
Bottle. Thx for the opportunity, Phil and Anna!

Tap at Drink Baar. Deep amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly sweet with a little bit of light toffee. Some chewiness along with a bit of sweet toasted malt. Clean and a little bit chewy. It’s a decent dark lager.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Clear amber, small head. Sweet and rather heavy with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Peppery and heavily caramelly with low bitterness. Well made, but more big than drinkable.

Sweet orange colour with pale head, smells of orange/ cherry/ citrus, taste very cherry & hoppy, despite the colour seems rather light

On tap at Dr!nk, Tallinn. Nasty aroma, but caramel aftertaste is reasonably pleasant. Not too bad

A better Munchener that you are likely to find in Munich but maybe that does not say much. Sweet malt with that annoying but perfectly correct dab of maple syrup in the background.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Hell Hunt, Tallinn. Red amber with a fine white lid. Beeswax aroma. Sweet, caramel and corn-accented with a slight edge of acidity and maybe oak. Barrels and caramel; tang of iron. Reminds me of Rodenbach. Digestives and cream afters. Can’t detect any alcohol. Decent drop.

Draught at Drink (Tallinn). Coppery red colour. Sweet malty aroma. The taste is full and rich with plenty of caramel and notes of honey and biscuit. Well balanced tasty brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Draught at Drink, Tallinn) I had this twice on two different days from two different kegs. The first one was a diacetyl bomb but the second one was in proper condition. Poured dark copper coloured and almost clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained malts and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, mildly caramell, bitterness and mildly butter. Aftertas was malty and bitter.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I assume this is the one I’ve had draught at Dr!nk, Tallinn. Slighlty darker copper colour, small white head. Nice sweet yoghurty, grainy malty nose. Yoghurty grainy smooth soft taste, very light acidity, some sweetness, light bitter hoppy aftertaste. Nice enough and certainly a great change of pace after all those crappy Estonian macros and the Beer House varieties on the same theme.
