UPDATED: JAN 15, 2015 Keg (Õlletorn, Tallinn) - rating removed - not in good condition.
Keg (Drink Baar, Tallinn)
6 Slightly sweet malty aroma, quite baltic and latvian maybe.
4 Rich clear red.
6 Slightly sweet malts, lovely fresh green aromatic hops.
4 Soft carbonation, softened by the sweetness, covers the alcohol.
13 This is what a munchner lager should be like, very full, finish is long and so fresh.

I’ve had this 100 times here. It’s my go-to beer. Drink local, I don’t need the fancy imports. Tonight was a great ona, so fresh, so bready, a superb munchen. Drinkability unsurpassable.3.3 was bollocks, this is a damn good brew, probably 3.6 at its best (and that’s on my scale, in the US or Pooland, that’s probably the equivalent of 4.6)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Drink Baar. Deep amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly sweet with a little bit of light toffee. Some chewiness along with a bit of sweet toasted malt. Clean and a little bit chewy. It’s a decent dark lager.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the <a
href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/estonia/ target=blank>Õlletorn in Tallinn, Estonia. Orange-amber in colour, long lasting white head, some lacing. The aroma is of sweet malts, cookies, caramel, earthy, nutty. The flavour has traces of citrus, earthy and quite malts, some caramel, light sweetness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes with a light bitterness, yeasty. Interesting beer, the setting really seemed to help this one. Balanced, not boring. I seemed to like this one more then the others.

A better Munchener that you are likely to find in Munich but maybe that does not say much. Sweet malt with that annoying but perfectly correct dab of maple syrup in the background.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear reddish amber color, minimal head. Malty aroma with notes of honey. Sweet taste of malt, caramel, some fruits, honey, grain and bread, lightly bitter and dry finish. Medium body and fizzy carbonation. Nice and enjoyable beer.

(Draft at the only place in sillamäe that serves the beer: Peetros Pizzeria). Finding and drinking this beer was so much fun, that it probably affected my rating in a positive way. Anyway, to me, this was very good beer. A nice 1 inch head and a copper color. Malty aroma with a hint of alcohol and a dry flavor. A little bit like strawberry, says Martin. Palate needs some tlc.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Clear amber shade with a ring of head. Light gingery spice in the aroma. Taste is caramelly, malty, bready. There’s a dryness to it that helps drinkability. Body is notably robust even for the strength. Compares favourably to the Ayinger Oktoberfest I just had.
