COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Blonde claire, effervescence moyenne, col blanc fin. Le malt carapils est bien présent dès le départ, le houblon se faisant légèrement sentir par la suite avec une petite amertume herbacée et citronnée qui rafraîchit avec plaisir, palais plutôt sec. Une assez bonne pils!

250ml bottle at home. Pours clear pale yellow, no head. Light yeast aroma, lemon, corn. Taste is more of the same. Ok, bit thin.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is quite malty and grainy, faint grassy hops. Flavour is grainy malt, some hop bitterness, light sweet floral note. Decent.

Swaroga (1247) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 17, 2013
25cl bottle. Very light golden with small snow white head. NOSE : grains, some funky wet hay like aroma of burnyard, delicate zest and metal. SIP : creamy and fluffy in mouth with strong but soft carbonation. Water like density. The beer has a moderate sweet grainy start. Gets dry and a bit acidic. After that, there is a light bitter hint in the finish. Mostly herbal dry and metallic with a fruity peach like aftertaste. OVERALL : a funky barnyard character is what this beer offers. Different then your usual lager or pils.

Bottle@Home. Sweet, floral, light sugary. Is this a pils/lager? Tastes like a blond. Without hops...

Bottle at home in London. Pours perfectly clear yellow, highly effervescent, with a large, perfectly white foam head. Sugary malt aroma, some cereal, corn, grains. Light sweet flavor with doughy malts, white sugar, some dusty straw. Light bodied with mouth-filling, explosive carbonation. Sweet, simple finish with some pale cereal malts, mild hay bitterness, some white sugar, dough, suggestions of lemon merengue. It’s not a great pilsener, but I guess it’s alright.

Medium to good white head, fed by lively carbonated metallic-golden beer. Pilsner/pale malt, slightly vegetable nose, bit grassy. Fresh-smelling. Ever so slightlly toasted malts, and sweet pale malts. Slight impression of caramel. Cucumber flavour in the back, shade of bitterness. Light body, gristslickness; bit sticky, but still refreshing. Average Pilsner. Which is a good result for something wearing a ’bio’ label.

Great new beer from the small Belgian "Silly brewery". Far better than the normal "Silly Pils". Smooth, neither too hoppy nor too malty - and quite light. In my opinion: A perfect "everyday beer".

From 25cl bottle @ home (23.07.2011). Clear yellow-golden color, with a white bit creamy head. Aroma bit sweet, fruity, and céréales, grainy-malts. Thin to medium body. Taste sweet, malts, refreshin on a summer day, fruit touch, light hopsbitterness. Good for a pilsener.
