Info: 330ml bottle, 5/4-2006, 100/300 jbrus (4178), Delft, Netherlands Feb 23, 2003 Orange and alcohol aroma. Dark golden color, white head, very good lace. Sweet, orange, alcohol, full body. Long lasting finish, little syrupy, sweet and bitter. Sammys (428), Portland, Maine, USA Jan 6, 2003 Poured to a muddy orange without too much head to speak of. Full bodied (almost chewy) with excellent lacing. Malty yeasty aroma with hints of apple, plum, and honey. Had a distinctive yeasty/meady flavor with mathcing aftertaste. Residual alcohol tanginess lasts on the corners of the tongue. I really liked this one, my only complaint is that its a touch too sweet. Inveigler (371), Ferndale, Michigan, USA Sep 13, 2002 Peachy and blond color with a thin airy head (sounds like a joke setup, I know.) Definitely sweet, with a fantastic malt driven complexity. Spicy hops and yeast flavors. Excellent thirst-quenching palate. Not the biggest or boldest Belgian, but a wonderfully simple little brew. Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland Oct 27, 2000 golden colour, big head, slightly spicy aroma, cider flavor, long aftertaste
