Bottled. A light brown coloured beer with a white head. The aroma shows some chocolate powder and a touch of sweet malt. The taste is quite interesting with more sweet chocolatey notes. Not a typical dubbel but still quite nice.

From bottle at Creperie Bretonne, Louvain-la-Neuve. Cloudy amber with a persistent little head. Fruity aroma with hints of chocolate. Sweet fruit and milk chocolate flavours. Scores on originality, though I think milk chocolate is rather less refreshing on a hot summer’s day.

A hazy dark amber ale with a thin creamy off white head. Pleasant caramel malt aroma, with vanilla cream, oranges, and alcohol. In mouth, a good sweet malt with sustained herbal belgian hopping, coriander, and orange peels. Very nice. Bieropholie imports. BB 19/12/08.

Coppery colored with medium sized yellow head. Chocolate dominates in berry aroma, some interesting raspberry comes up here too. Spices also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is drier with chocolate still here, same sweet berriness comes also up. Licorice even in drying and mildly alcoholic aftertaste. Good beer, interesting filtered one.
