The aroma is malty and the mouthfeel quite oily. It’s a dark amber beer with a nice head. The aroma is malty and the mouth feel is oily. The flavour is sweetish with a citrussy, light bitterness, and I find notes of fruit, candy sugar and alcohol. It’s nice, but I would like a bit more complexity...

Aug 31, 2008 Bu au Festival Bière et Saveur 08 (31/8), en bouteille au kiosk Univin. Blonde dorée, pas brune?, mince collet. Arome de malte un peu végétal, légèrement caramelisé. Goût de malte très légé, mais la sensation d’alcool est très présante. C’est de la bouette ça!

Aug 17, 2008 Coppery colored with medium sized yellow head. Chocolate dominates in berry aroma, some interesting raspberry comes up here too. Spices also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is drier with chocolate still here, same sweet berriness comes also up. Licorice even in drying and mildly alcoholic aftertaste. Good beer, interesting filtered one.

Pours clear amber with a big, creamy, yellowish head. Great duration. Aroma has a little wet dog character, weak hops, caramel and yeast. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Light metallic off-flavour, sweet malty, good caramel and a good spiciness. Finishes sugary sweet.

May 8, 2008 Amber with large off white head. Sweet fruity and yeasty aroma with toasted malt, caramel and orange peel notes. Sweet yeasty flavor with ripe fruits, caramel and malty notes. Ends sweet.
