Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 12, 2005 A hazy dark amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, coriander, and oranges with a very slight sour tinge. The flavor is sweet yet a little sour with a metal tinge. The sweet/sour combination reminds me of a Flemish Sour Ale. The flavor contains notes of yeast and coriander and leads to a very dry spicy end. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 14, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) 7,5% ABV in this version. Unusually this is only light brown with a delicious, creamy head. Some faint smoky notes with a dry touch of caramel. Satisfactory. 150599 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 25, 2002 Amber coloured. Roasty, bitter and deliciously complex.
