11.2 oz btl. A slightly hazed orangish pour with an off white gooy head and lace. The nose is yeasty, malty, and a tad of abv. The flavor is a sweet malty, with an almost licorish ending. Not the yeasty flavor I expected from the nose. A slight fruitiness that reminds me of apple pie just a little. A hint of warmth that is nice too. It is just a bit watery but the carboantion is very good. A beer I liked but was surprised by the licorish. Not bad at all.

Sep 20, 2008 From bottle at Creperie Bretonne, Louvain-la-Neuve. Cloudy amber with a persistent little head. Fruity aroma with hints of chocolate. Sweet fruit and milk chocolate flavours. Scores on originality, though I think milk chocolate is rather less refreshing on a hot summer’s day.

Sep 8, 2008 A hazy dark amber ale with a thin creamy off white head. Pleasant caramel malt aroma, with vanilla cream, oranges, and alcohol. In mouth, a good sweet malt with sustained herbal belgian hopping, coriander, and orange peels. Very nice. Bieropholie imports. BB 19/12/08.

Aug 31, 2008 Bu au Festival Bière et Saveur 08 (31/8), en bouteille au kiosk Univin. Blonde dorée, pas brune?, mince collet. Arome de malte un peu végétal, légèrement caramelisé. Goût de malte très légé, mais la sensation d’alcool est très présante. C’est de la bouette ça!

Aug 17, 2008 Coppery colored with medium sized yellow head. Chocolate dominates in berry aroma, some interesting raspberry comes up here too. Spices also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is drier with chocolate still here, same sweet berriness comes also up. Licorice even in drying and mildly alcoholic aftertaste. Good beer, interesting filtered one.
