Bottle @ home picked up picked at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a thin tan head. Quite spicy, bubblegum, big banana mango smoothie, brown sugary aroma. Toffee, candy sugar, quite fruity, plum, apple, citrusy, spicy yeasty flavor with a fairly smooth, lightly sweet, fruity finish. Kind of a cool beer.

Para mi gusto no es la típica cerveza de abadía, es una belga extraña, fuerte y poco dulzona. Sin nada destacable.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium to dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of banana/gum, candy sugar, pepper, sherry. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. A little old smelling, even though this and the Saison (which should probably have quotes around it) just recently showed up on shelves here. Very sugar-heavy in the nose and (unsurprisingly) overly syrupy-sweet in the mouth. Could only stand 3 or 4 sips before being utterly fatigued by all the sugar...blech.
