Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark Aug 12, 2008 It’s a dark, red-brown amber color and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and a light sweetness. The flavour has a strong sweetness, notes of candy sugar, light raisin, caramel, malt and sour citrus. I would like more complexity, especially in the finish, the beer leaves me with a feeling of being OK – but boring... Jukkabro (2368), Tampere, Finland Feb 11, 2008 Deep dark amber colored with huge yellow head. Sweet plummy aroma with nice licorice, nuts and mild alcohol, some hops also there. Medium to full bodied. Rich flavor is surprise after mediocre aroma: strong sweetness with syrup, caramel, licorice, spices and some vinous berry note. Aftertaste keeps as sweet and mildly alcoholic. Fine brew, aroma differs from flavor. oh6gdx (5901), Vaasa, Finland Feb 3, 2008 Bottled. Deep amber colour with mediumsized beige creamy head, a lot of lacing.
