Bottled. Deep amber colour with mediumsized beige creamy head, a lot of lacing. Aroma is raisins, toffee, fudge some sweet malts and licorice. Flavour is licorice along with caramel malts and some fudge. Mild notes of cinnamon and also soem slight alcohol can be traced, but fits in the beer really well. Wellbalanced and pleasant.

(Bottled) Dark ruby color with a huge, tight and lacy head (from a Duvel glass :). Plummy, fruity, toffeeish nose. Lots of dark, sweet fruit and caramely toffee in the flavor. Not overly sweet, though. Well-hidden alcohol. Quite full-bodied, somewhat syrupy and soft-carbonated palate. A very nicely balanced, reasonably complex and smooth dessert brew!

Bottled 25cl (BB 08/2006)
amber-ruby color with huge tight brownish head, nice lace. Aroma has plums, dates, coffee and roasted malts. Full-bodied - toffeish and sweet. Flat mouthfeel. Molasses, maple syrup and again plums (and raisins) in the flavor. Alcohol is present in the finish. Leaves roasted aftertaste. Nice complex beer.

Dark amber colour with medium sized tan head. Decent lacing. Aroma is caramel, some plum and brown sugar. Flavour is sweet with lots of caramel malt flavour. Stays sticky thorughout with no sign of alcohol. Nice and smooth with a fruity finish.
