11.2 oz bottle to tulip. Looks solid; a transparent copper with off-white/very light caramel head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells solid too; tart with berry notes. Tastes like it smells with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. A bit of sweetness from the malt as well. Better than its mean suggests.

Draft. Dark amber to reddish brown color with large off white head. Very faint aroma, light sweetness, a big tea like aroma. Light green apple flavor, more of the tea like character, malty, sweet and sticky. Really not "sour" at all for a beer simply called "sour". Much disappoint.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and dispensed to a tulip showing a clear, mahogany color, with good persistence to the fluffy, moussy, light tan head, and spots & etched-like spray to the lacing. The nose was light yeast at best, and a pleasant, Kool-Aid sweetness, with notes of cherry & grape. The taste was tart, with a touch of sweetness, and a dry, vinous nature. Effervescent, light bodied, and very drinkable for a basic Sour-101.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Pours orange to brown with a beige head, aroma of chocolate, milk, fruits and honey, flavor is sour and bitter with fruits, dark bread, medium bodied.

Saison funk, dark fruit and some sourness in the aroma. Flavor is slight apple sourness and saison funk. I would probably call this more funky sour than lactic. Not very lactic sour at all. Slight watery palate. Enjoyable, but not a great sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Almost clear reddish amber. Aroma of stale malt, caramel, cherries and other fruits, cobwebs and vinous notes. Sweetish-sourish flavor with malt, caramel, lots of fruits, mild funk tart lemon and apple in the finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

On tap at wine spot. Pours a red clear color with a white fizzy head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is nice and sweet with some tartness. You get the fact that its a sour off the bat. But there is a good fruity sweetness of grapes and cherries. I feel like there is some hoppiness there as well. The flavor is obviously sour but I feel like there is some astringency that takes away from it all. Maybe its too acidic. I get some of the grapes and cherries and fruits. The finish is where the sweet sour comes through. Mouth feel is tart and carbonation is average. Overall this is an okay beer.

@ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear ruby brown with a 1/2" long-lasting head, swoops and dots of lace. Aroma is tart malt and grass, quite pleasant. Taste begins with malt, but it is quickly undone by a semi-tart sour that is also quite pleasant. A lightweight taste quencher that also awakens the appetite, solid sour ale.

11.2 ounce bottle. Served in a Unibroue tulip, the beer pours a dark reddish/brown color with an inch and a half light tan head. Head retention is good, and there’s a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit (cherries, raisins), vinegar, tart apples, caramel, and some earthiness. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there’s also some red grapes, and bready malt noticeable too. Nice mix of sweet and tart flavors. I wouldn’t call this sour, but there’s enough tartness to make it interesting. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit syrupy with low/moderate carbonation. I liked this, worth a try if you’ve never had it before. $3.99 a bottle.

Tangy finish. Pours reddish maroon. Some plum. Light whiskey taste here. Ok. Light and palatable, at least. Bottle thanks to someone at Epic Sour Tasting.
