2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours dark and clear redbrown, small white head. Smell is malty, milksour with sweet notes. Taste is thin, rather dry, some metallic notes. Mild fruityness in the back. Not convinced at all by this one. The dryness and sourness seem off, and not nearly as balanced and nice as most others in the style.

On tap, Hoppy Loft. Dark amber body with medium white head. Aroma has light caremel, roasty notes as well as light sour kick. Taste has medium sour acidic sweetness, low to none bitterness, little bit of fruity acidic taste in the background but the palate is pretty flat. Body is full, medium carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a hazy chocolate brown. The aroma is reminiscent of cheese and yeast. A little skunky. The taste is very tart. Sort of sour apple but more tart with an unpleasant sour/bitter aftertaste that lasts too long. Lively carbonation. In all, this ale sorely lacks the complexity of taste and aroma that make other sour ales such delights to drink.
