It was way more sour than expected. Thought it was decent though. Would have it again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap, Hoppy Loft. Dark amber body with medium white head. Aroma has light caremel, roasty notes as well as light sour kick. Taste has medium sour acidic sweetness, low to none bitterness, little bit of fruity acidic taste in the background but the palate is pretty flat. Body is full, medium carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a hazy chocolate brown. The aroma is reminiscent of cheese and yeast. A little skunky. The taste is very tart. Sort of sour apple but more tart with an unpleasant sour/bitter aftertaste that lasts too long. Lively carbonation. In all, this ale sorely lacks the complexity of taste and aroma that make other sour ales such delights to drink.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Belgian Beer Festival, Ljubljana. Pours a clear and dark amber color, topped with a small and non-lasting white head. Completely disappears in seconds. Aroma is very gentle, some grainy feel and a bit of honey notes. A bit of soury fruitiness. Taste is mildly soury, winey a bit. Some sweet feel upfront and in the end as well. Bittery herbal finish. Quite decent.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma: tart, spices, something chemical.
Appearance: reddish, slightly hazy, white head, ok retention.
taste: light to medium sourness that has a weird thang to it, almost metallic or chemical- unpleasant, again spices.
light body, thin feel, astringent finish.
Overall a dissapointing brew that i could not finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Reddish-brown color, very clear -- I find that disconcerting. Polished and not bottle conditioned then. It’s pretty enough though. Sweetish and lactic-tart with an impression of unripe berries. Fairly balanced, leaning on the quenching acidic side. Not difficult to drink. Prickly sparkling mouthfeel. I think they missed some chances at added depth, but it’s odd, drinkable and likable enough. Possibly meant to please and amuse crowds without challenging them much. Which is fine.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
33cl US import, no apparent BB date, diverted by Bierhandlung. - - Brackish redbrown pour, dissipating head. Smells like liquorice caramel rust, opening up to cinnamon-dusted Haribokirschen left to survive in a mix of Palm and red currant vinegar. - Flavour: starts off as a lactobombed Rodenbach: same amount of sweet&sour spiel going on in flavour, mostly raspberry vinegar, green apple, with the added distraction of assertive bitter hops guiding the syrupy sours to their astringent coda, quite fascinating in its own right. A bit of an ode to the adage of most Belgian geuzestekers and Rudi Ghequire who hold that sours do not go well with upfront hops, while keeping the door ajar for a new attempt. - The dark saison base beer brings harsh caramalts to the table, along with some invert syrup. - A hard to place added sugary/aspartame ingredient does not agree with my palate. - Lactified and cut 87/13, this mini-abomination of an instant sour blend is actually "cut" pretty well. - Not available anywhere for now in its home market BE/EU, not represented on the brewer’s site and a bit of an attempt to bottle an unbalanced beer to cater slow tooth decay to a demanding US market that is not yet puckered out. - Quite a silly sour(ed) indeed - I’ll be pregurgling with Sensodyne should I ever come across the Silly Stupid Sour. - Cf. Cascade lacto-sours, #sour bros, #DeLaSenne copylabel #Petrus US Sour Power pack.

Bottle, 330ml. A brown beer with a small head that fades away quickly. Sour aroma of green apples and spices. Taste is sour with a green apple aftertaste. Light bodied with some carbonation and considerable astringency. Sweet sourness at the end.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 33cl. Murky brownish copper with a minimal head. Sweet and sour aromas of sour cherries, leather, green apples. Medium to robust bodied with moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet and moderately sour, with a rich fruity character and a malty sour finish. Very nice.
