Not good. Petrus aged pale is the Cadillac of Sour Beers, and in comparison this is a beat up broken down piece of shit station wagon. If you mix it with another beer you kind of end up with something ok.

Countbeer (6081) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2016
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Cloudy amber ruby colored body with a creamy beige lacing... Nose is light: funky, sweat, malts, grains, some brown sugars and darker wood. Flavours of funk, light yoghurt, light (watery) tart, light wood, hint of grapes, some malts, light dry, Aftertaste malty, light wood, dry, light funk and grape skin. Low carbo, light watery mouthfeel, low to medium bodied. Easy drinker but nothing crazy and just recognisable as a Belgian Brown...

Cola brown with small off white head. Really looks like s cola with the effervescence. Nose of sour sweet milk. Flavor is sour apple with some sweet fruit. Nice clean finish.

Draft at Craft Hazy brown with tan head. Some malt, yeasty funk in the nose, more malt, dark fruit, tartness in the flavor, not very tart.

Pours dark and clear redbrown, small white head. Smell is malty, milksour with sweet notes. Taste is thin, rather dry, some metallic notes. Mild fruityness in the back. Not convinced at all by this one. The dryness and sourness seem off, and not nearly as balanced and nice as most others in the style.

Bottle shared. Hazy amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma of cardboard, dull malt, apple juice, tart green apple, vinegar and weird chemical notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate sour. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis and deanso. Clear reddish brown with small beige head. Cardboard, apple juice, caramel, lots of herbs, light rotting red fruits, light metallic. Light sour and almost medium sweet. Under medium bodied with low carbonation. The metallic finish is the worst but the rest is not good either.

On tap @ 4. Cameralov festival mikropivovarjev. Pours clear brown amber color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of yeast, vinegar, ripe fruits, wood and caramel. Taste is smooth creamy biscuity and caramelly, only hint of fruitiness, sourness hardly to notice, Medium body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not really typical sour red / brown beer...
