Una gran cerveza del tipo"strong" sin duda es muy fuerte pero de sabor bastante agradable. Es la tipica cerveza que por el sabor la empizas a beber con gusto y al acabarla notas como su fuerte graduacion te afecta.

Slight red appearance with a touch of caramel and brown sugar to soften the alcohol density.

Can. It pours a dark brownish golden body and a dense but small, light beige head. Lightly caramel and choclate smelling, with a light almost buttery hint, in a pleasant way. Pleasant carbonation, medium to full body, with flavors of caramel, roasted malts notes, some chocolate hints and a faint touch of alcohol. Pretty much the same in the end. Didn’t expect a beer this good from Romania. 120516

500ml bottle and can. Deep reddish-brown body with a decent mocha head, surprisingly low retention for a dense beer like that. Sweet caramel aroma, coffee, toffee, spices, a hint of booze, delicious. Taste is softened by a hint of burned sugar, caramel, roasted malt. Alcohol is not overwhelming, but there is some heat finish. Not as sweet as I remember it. Not bad, but I’ll prefer a Ursus Black.

Vargatul (139) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - APR 26, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2012 0.5 l bottle. Dark burgundy colour. Medium beige head. Aroma has notes of caramel, yeast, grapefruit, fresh bread, sour cherry jam and alcohol. Bittersweet taste, average carbonation and a medium body. It’s ok, but if I drink more than two bottles, I have a headache. I don’t know why. But I say this from my experience.
