Bottle:   Orangish straw, large fluffy white head, strong carbonation, clingy lacing.   A little more amber in color than expected.   Wheaty nose, slight barnish funk, a little wet dog, some spiciness.   Minor clove and banana on the tongue.   A little heavy and mealy versus the wheatiness I enjoy.   Still better than most.   Flavor falls flat somewhat quickly.   Feels pretty thick, wheaty but mainly mealiness.   Smells decent, looks decent, but kinda falls flat there at the end.

A good smelling beer; right balance. This is good! Flavor is wonderfully balanced and right on for a good German hefe. Excellent for a style I’m not big on.

True to style German hefe, and pretty well done at that. Solid grainy wheat malt backbone with heavily pronounced wheat spices, soft clove, light banana, and tart citrus. Yeast notes through out. Crisp and enjoyable.

Draft at the brewpub. Pouts cloudy golden in color with thin white head. Aroma oranges and wheat. Taste lemons, oranges and wheat with bitter finish.

Draft at the brewery 6/21/09. Hazy yellow, little head. Citrus aroma with hints of yeast and toffee. Not much flavorwise, but a decent finish.

22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. Poured into my .4 L Kulmbacher glass. Pour is hazed yellow golden with visible carbonation and a frothy 3 inch white head. Head is very lasting. Some patchy lacing lines the glass as the head eventually falls. Aroma of clove, citric wheatiness and a nice banana orange fruitiness in behind that. Taste is the wheat initially, with a nice mineral somewhat sour bite, following behind that is the clove and some dry white pepper in the finish. Clean, and refreshing. Palate is medium, unfiltered and very drinkable. Nice one, thanks Brandon.

tap, very cloudy/thick bright yellow pour with no head, wonderful citrus/malt aroma, taste of citrus, wheat, banana, and a light clove overtone, zero bite/bitterness on palate, excellent beer...hope bottled is anywhere close to this!

pours a semi-cloudy orange-yellow with a medium size thick white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a good lacing, heavy carbonation throughout. smell is of wheat, touch of spice, and some bread yeast. taste has a lively carbonation on the tongue, wheat, slight banana, some yeast in the back, there is a touch of spice, and ends somewhat on the thick side with a spicy aftertaste. overall better than most of the silver city offerings.
