dirt55 (65), Washington, USA Nov 27, 2008 tap, very cloudy/thick bright yellow pour with no head, wonderful citrus/malt aroma, taste of citrus, wheat, banana, and a light clove overtone, zero bite/bitterness on palate, excellent beer...hope bottled is anywhere close to this! after4ever (1925), Brier, Washington, USA Apr 6, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. This would certainly be the beer of the day by a long shot after today’s Olympic Peninsula pub crawl.
Cloudy bright lemony yellow. Thin white foamy head. Nice florid banana nose. Creamy medium body, soft carb. Nice banana and clove. Not astonishing but very clean and refreshing with a lovely creamy round body. Well-made hefe. acrdz (4486), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 3, 2005 Glowing soft murky yellow. Sweet fruity, yeasty and fresh tasting beer. Light and crisp, with a German yeast nose and a woody finish. Very fresh tasting, and a perfect summer hefeweizen. Enniskillen (1620), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Aug 3, 2008 Look is very orange, almost like cloudy orange juice, white head. Aroma is citrus, banana, wheat, yeast. Taste is much the same as the aroma but with less citrus showing. Not bad. IndianaRed (1470), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 10, 2006 Bottle Pours a cloudy murkey yellow with a thin white head. Malty german hef aroma. bananas and a littel spice. fairly mild though. Flavor is nice and fruity. Rather dominated by the banana flavors and a nice soft wheat body. Very soft carbonation. The 22 I had was filled to withing 1/4" of the cap. Sweet begginging, middle and end. Not as spicy as the style would dictate but I found it very nice and quite drinkable. Somewhat americanized German Hef I’d say.
