Commercial Description:
Silver City Brewing Co.'s Bavarian Style Hefeweizen lives up to his royal ancestry. It begins with a blend of 60% malted Washington white wheat and 40% North American pale barley malt. Wheat malt gives this unfiltered and naturally cloudy beer a clean maltiness, light body and a hazy, tart character. True Bavarian yeast is employed to produce a very light and dry, sparkling ale and adds a subtle accent of clove and banana throughout.

Draft at brewpub. Extremely cloudy banana pulp color. Very crisp, champagne-like body. Plenty of fruity banana flavor with light clove. Light, but full-flavored. Great for a hot day.

tap, very cloudy/thick bright yellow pour with no head, wonderful citrus/malt aroma, taste of citrus, wheat, banana, and a light clove overtone, zero bite/bitterness on palate, excellent beer...hope bottled is anywhere close to this!

pours a semi-cloudy orange-yellow with a medium size thick white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a good lacing, heavy carbonation throughout. smell is of wheat, touch of spice, and some bread yeast. taste has a lively carbonation on the tongue, wheat, slight banana, some yeast in the back, there is a touch of spice, and ends somewhat on the thick side with a spicy aftertaste. overall better than most of the silver city offerings.

Look is very orange, almost like cloudy orange juice, white head. Aroma is citrus, banana, wheat, yeast. Taste is much the same as the aroma but with less citrus showing. Not bad.

Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow. Very light head. Zesty soft banana and bread aroma. Zesty refreshing taste. A bit chalky. Sour lemon edge. Light on the banana.
