fakepurseninja (578), Washington, USA Dec 2, 2008 Bottle: Listed @ 4.5ABV. Suprisingly big, lightly sweet bready malt backbone. Deep hazy straw body with a large, soft white head. Has a earthy component that, unlike most english PAs does not mave that musty, stale essence. Sloid little hop blend - light citrus rind and maybe maybe a grassy piece. Great session beer. bitbucket (1601), Kirkland, Washington, USA May 24, 2008 Bomber. Pours clear dark gold with a somewhat lacy white head. Aroma of fruit, some citrus and earth, and just a little pine. Medium body and light carbonation. Lightly sweet taste, with some caramel, citrus and fruit. Clean and lightly bitter finish. Quaffable, but probably better with food than standing on its own. Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA May 18, 2008 From a 22-ounce bottle purchased at By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a light copper-orange body w/ a fluffy one to two finger white head. Orange/lemon nose with some biscuit properties. Light watery finish that was quite dull and unexciting. BückDich (4603), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 9, 2008 Tap @ Brewery: Copper, light white head and lacing. Nose of musky earthy hops, a little grassy with thin malts, less appealing than the gold. More body and bitter though. after4ever (1925), Brier, Washington, USA Apr 6, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Crystal clear medium copper. Headless, laceless. Mild caramel nose. Medium body, kinda still. Vaguely earwaxy. Odd little tea-sour finish (too much crystal?). Very pretty logo.
