COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for a small community in North Kitsap, Indianola Pale Ale packs a punch. Washington grown Columbus and Cascade hops are used with reckless abandon for a pungent hop aroma that is boldly citrus, floral and piney. Alcohol By Volume: 6.9% Hops: Columbus, Cascade Malts: NW Pale, Caramel, British Pale, Munich IBU’s: 55 2007 North American Beer Awards Bronze Medal Winner

pours and orange amber color. very strong hoppy aroma with some pine smells. little to no head from the pour of the bomber. first sip was filled with typical cascade hops and pine and slight infusion of citrus kicking in on the tounge in the after taste. overall very nicely done.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clear gold with a film of fine white bubbles. Nose of gold raisins, sweet, citrus. Taste of orange, cracker, grapefruit, fairly fresh and hoppy. Creamy body, well balanced and nice finish.

From a bomber: Pours very clear amber with thick frothy head that sticks around to make friends. Aroma is piney, herbal, grainy (like corn) and aged hops. Mouthfeel is thick for an IPA, even a little oily. Flavor of malt, bitter hops, grapefruit, pine, and the bitterness clings for a bit. I get some sweetness too which brings me back for more sips. Nice and balanced. Tasted @ 55F.

On tap at Brouwer’s. Pours an orange-amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Mild aroma, with skunky hops -- a little like the illegal cousin of hops -- and pine sap. Interesting flavor -- this is really like someone took a juicy IPA and used it to marinate a nugget of pot. Not my favorite. Nice and dry, and this is most certainly a northwest IPA!

Copper colored pour from bottle with a white head. Aroma is grass and pine needles. Taste is piney, with hints of citrus and caramel. Smooth, balanced and quite good.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, biscuit, light pine and light tropical fruit. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, orange, pink grapefruit and light pine with a crisp dry lngering moderatly bitter citrus finish.
