Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 8, 2008 22 oz. bottle purchased at Silver City in Silverdale, WA--Poured aclean golden-straw body with a dense white foam head. Malt biscuit nose with a mildly metallic and earthy hops character. Great session brew. Enniskillen (1620), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Aug 3, 2008 Deep gold with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is yeast, malt, dough, light soapiness. Taste is a nice hoppiness complemented by a sweet maltiness and interesting mettalic like aspect. riversideAK (1755), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 14, 2008 Pours golden amber with a great big soapy head due to a rather violent pour. Aroma is bready for the most part with some grass as well. Taste is similar with a bready sweetness, a little grainy sweetness, followed by grassy hops that have a light lingering bitterness. Perhaps a little pepper in the finish too. I agree that it was damn drinkable. Mine also went down fast. OldMrCrow (1057), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 9, 2008 Bottle from bottleworks.

Malty, grassy aroma, a bit sweet. Grainy sweetness with a reasonably bitter grassy hop close. Peaches come out as it warms. Pretty drinkable; certainly went down fast. Oakes (7030), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 23, 2007 Slightly hazy amber. Slightly floral, grassy hop aroma fights through a rather cold serving temp...and dude I tried to let it warm. Somewhat tannic, grainy malt character with an overlaid woody hoppiness. Dry, slightly barny finish.
