Deep brown-black beer. Sweet chocolatey aroma, creamy texture. A bit of herbal character in the nose as well. Flavour is quite chocolatey as well. Sweet caramel malts, breadiness, and a bit of nuttiness. No roast. A good, easy-drinking porter.

2/13/09 On draft at The Attic, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is low, creamy and dominated by roast notes. Appearance is dark brown with a tan head. Flavor is roasty and creamy, but not grainy at all. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, yet again creamy, with a very low carb texture. Overall, great for soft textured beer lovers.

Draft at the brewery
Deep black body with a tan, foamy head, pretty much what the picture here looks like. Some roasty toasted bread and coffee in the nose, with a straight-forward flavor of smoky malts, coffee and cream. Very mellow texture, rich and creamy at times but not that thick. A very good porter.
