3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Ballard Market. 21st rating of this brew. Drank while watching the Sounders game with my buddies at their place in Ballard. Light toasty aroma with some caramel malts and that was about it. Pours amber with a thin lasting foamy head. Toasty, lightly sweet caramel malt notes, and some crisp unobtrusive hops. Just kind of toned down and ’regular’, but it is an amber ale, so what more can they do with it in all reality. Well made, just nothing spectacular to rave about. Gotta appreciate consistency and the fact that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the beer. Good session amber.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
lots of caramel and almost sickly sweet aroma. pours a bubbly light brown hue, just a covering of a head. taste is sweet as expected, but malts come through better there and the sugars are little more nuanced.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
tap, medium copper pour with medium white head, wonderfully sweet malt aroma very little hop aroma present, taste same as aroma, very caramel like with almost a hint of fruit, no hop bitter, mild hop flavor in end, palate very crisp with light lingering sweet malt, taken aback by how much I enjoyed this one.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Malt dominated beer that is still extremely drinkable. Aroma smells like condensed milk with caramelized apples! Color is an amazing dark brown/red. Taste is a malty caramel with a great hope balanced background.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz’r. Great lightly roasted caramel malt backbone with a big, sweet toffee and cracker component and just enough light pine hop presence to bring it together. Very light citrus notes. Great session beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bottle, via 5000. Pours a mostly clear copper to light amber body with a slight yeast haze under a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is equally balanced between toasted, lightly caramel, maltiness and a soft perfumy floral hoppiness. The flavor is malt centered with a slightly sweet toasted grain base with just a light accent of lightly bitter hops on the finish. Mouthfeel is fairly light bodied with moderate soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty good among the arena of Amber Ales.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours clear coppery amber with a lacy off-white head. Thin aroma, just a touch of caramel, dust, earthy hops. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sweet, malty nutty toffee taste. The finish is just lightly bitter, with the same earthy quality as the nose. It almost seems like they’re positioning this as a gateway brew, not too assertive, but with a enough flavor to draw you in.
