Bomber. Dark copper colored with an inch of tan foam. Mostly bread dough, apricot and brown sugar in the aroma. The taste is heavy on the toffee and toasted caramel malt flavors as well as some orange citrus, honey and smoked grain notes. Mouthfeel is mildly creamy with heavy carbonation and a dry, malty finish. A little one-dimensional but a decent Red Ale nonetheless.

Draft pour. Pours reddish with a faint malt aroma. Flavor is mostly sweet malt flavor. Mild hops. Drinks easy. Nothing too special or different here, but not bad.

Cloudy orange with a white head. Very fruity citrus hops in the aroma with a touch of sweetness trying to show behind it. Very hoppy amber with a very fruity hop finish, kinda wet hop taste that kinda reminds me of cantalope. Very light on the palate, but still refreshing.

Everything Silver City makes seems to make me smile, and this was no exception. Although I am not a huge fan of reds, this one played the part well. A notable carmel sweetness and a bright red glow; this guy is very sessionable for late spring, early summer days. If more reds were lilke this, I might have had a different preconceived notion on the genre. Woo hoo!

A deep reddish color with a thin head. This is there flagship brew it was nice. The malts where woody in flavor and the hops where very light. This is the true non beer drinkers beer. It is easy to drink for anyone. I can see why it is the best to the local PBR crowd. Needs more flavor for my books and just add some fun add some ornage peel or corrinader to give some life.

Bottle from Ballard Market. 21st rating of this brew. Drank while watching the Sounders game with my buddies at their place in Ballard. Light toasty aroma with some caramel malts and that was about it. Pours amber with a thin lasting foamy head. Toasty, lightly sweet caramel malt notes, and some crisp unobtrusive hops. Just kind of toned down and ’regular’, but it is an amber ale, so what more can they do with it in all reality. Well made, just nothing spectacular to rave about. Gotta appreciate consistency and the fact that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the beer. Good session amber.

Clear amber color with ivory sheen. Nutty, soapy, tea leaf, caramel aromas. light bodied. Lightly sweet spicy caramel, nutty flavors with a tea leaf twang to finish--decent

22. Grainy, hazy opaque dark amber with bright rubied highlights. Light tan sudsy film and lace. Sweet bready nose with minimal differentiation. Light body with slight carb and not much else happening on the attack. Mid-palate opens up without too much fanfare and carries through with light caramel and brown bread happening. Bit of a disappointment, really. Clean finish. The whole thing is really not very interruptive.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours deep amber in color with thin white head. Aroma malty, sweet and lite hops. Taste carmel malt and lite hops with bitter finish.

Pours a reddish amber with a thin white head that didn’t last long for me. Has a light, sweet, toasty malt aroma. Flavor is toast and caramel malt with a light, crisp, flowery hop flavor on the finish. I found this a bit boring, but very easy drinking.
