UPDATED: JAN 4, 2013 Serving: from tap at Schultzy’s Sausage. Aroma: lightly hoppy. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, white, initial head with fully diminishing longevity and fair lacing. Clear, flat-looking, amber body. Taste: moderately bitter initial taste with moderately bitter finish and long duration. Palate: medium-bodied with watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: Exceptional IPA. Just enough hops to get the right aroma and flavor without being overpowering and overly bitter. Look forward to drinking this again.

On tap at Anthony’s SeaTac. Pours a clear orange amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a strong pine note with a bit of bitter citrus and a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a combination of bitter and citrus with pine and a bit of bread supporting.

Bottle poured into pilsner glass. Pours a light copper. Has a two finger white head that dissipates at a normal rate. Ideal lacing. Smells citrus and fruit, very appealing. Taste mimics the aroma well. The aftertaste isn’t quite as nice although the bitterness feels just right. A really well put together front and middle but seems closer to average on the back end.

From a 12 ounce bottle pours dark amber with modest head. Smell is very nice, malty and carmel. Drinks nice with slightly harsh finish. But I’ve been in belize with no beer options.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle today. A: Flower, caramel malt. A: 1 1/2 finger head that stays. See through amber body. T: Pine, lingering flower, and caramel malt dominate. P: Smooth with very slight resin. Medium mouthfeel. O: It’s an old-school IPA. It’s easy and enjoyable to drink, but average.

Medium amber orange with a white, creamy head. Citrus and pine in the aroma with a bit of a sweet malt profile, too. Medium bodied. Flavor is mostly citrus and floral with a decent pine, too. A bit sweet underneath the hops. The finish is mildly dry with lingering bitterness. Quite a nice IPA.
