Commercial Description:
A blend of five different German and domestic malts come together to give a deep, rich color and a complex roasted flavor to this winter favorite. Over 6 weeks of cold conditioning makes this “one smooth brew”. 2005 North American Beer Awards Silver Medal Winner

GABF 2005 (I poured this one as a volunteer). Kind of a watery tasting cola aroma beer. Not enjoyable, most Bocks I’ve had are better.

On tap at the Silver City Brewery in Silverdale, WA--Poured a deep dark dark brown body with a thick off-white head. Sweet dark fruity body. Murky, overly sweet, cloying. Bold and over the top. Needed some balance for the booziness.

draft @ collins pub - deep brown with off white head; nice deep malty aromas and a little earthy; flavors a little boring; drinks thin towards a dry finish

Deep amber colour. Aroma of brown sugar and burnt fruits. Tart, footie-tasting and way too fruity. Not to style and not pleasant.

Draught at the Brouwer’s Cafe, Seattle. Clear dark ruby. Light buttery malt aroma. Very sweet and fruity with mellow mouthfeel. Near full bodied, notes of pineapple and strawberry jam. Fruit syrup is what remains in the finish. Some nice flavours, but very unlike a traditional bock with it’s sticky, mellow mouthfeel.
