phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 20, 2008 Sampled on draught at Silver Creek: pours a clear copper with a medium sized white head. Plenty of floral aroma, and strong hops. Taste is light and bubbly, citrusy all around, with pleasent grapefruit flavors. Finishes rather light for an IPA, but very nice anyway. couchand (138), West Amana, Iowa, USA Mar 17, 2008 Amber to red. Almost clear. Some creamy white head.
Fruity hop aroma, spicy.
Bitter, alcoholic, and spicy flavor, but clears quickly, inviting another sip. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Nov 24, 2007 Good. From the tap at the brewpub. English in style, with a nearly opaque copper color and thick creamy head. Nice hop crispness, but smooth and sessionable. CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/21/07: Transparent dark copper amber pour has a nicely-lacing frothy light tan head. Sweet grainy caramel malty aroma has a touch of earthy piny hops. Body starts with nice fullness and thick, sweet toasty caramel malt along with an earthy, almost peaty piny hoppiness. A nice English style IPA. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/21/2007

dark amber with a slight haze, fine beige head, lots of thick lace,
sweet dark caramel malt aroma with a combination of citrus and earthy hops,
sweet caramel malt flavor well balanced with the earthy hops, the great hop flavor leads to a tasty long bitter finish, between the dark caramel and the earthy hops that makes a light barley wine
