3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Another growler from Wendy.
Everyone had this in pint glasses.
The appearance was a slight hazy orange color with a soft white foamy head that dissipated within seconds. Light quickly dissipating lacing spider webs and slides into the beer.
The smell started off with blueberries and then a light wheat base and then a banana esters(hmmm...actually for a fruit beer, I kinda like it).
The taste was sweet through the blueberries and the banana esters. Wheat comes back to give it a slight kick.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was slightly there but also showed a savory quality rolling over my tongue.
Overall, I wonder if this was supposed to be a blueberry hefeweizen-esque beer without the spicy clove. Well, I did like this one and would have it again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Silver Gulch. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of fruity wheat, light blueberry and some faint Hef yeast esters. Flavor is wheat malt with tart blueberry and some zesty yeast esters. Medium to light body with average carbonation. Nice beer, the blueberry is not overpowering but you definitely know it’s there.
