Draught. Pours clear light yellow with a small white creamy head, diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, cereal, roasted, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of cooked cabbage and corn. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and bitter finish.

On tap at the 06 Great Alaska Beer and Barley Wine Festival. Clear gold beer with a rocky big white head. Light sweet nose. This is a very clean, crisp pilsener. It disappears on the palate leaving only faint hop tracks. Flavors of sublte lemon citrus and buscuit. Very easy drinking beer.

Smells a little hoppy and darker than the style indicates (but all silver gulch beers are a little darker). It actually has a faint wheaty taste. An okay for beer for the style, but not the best this brewery has to offer.

Clear straw appearance. Sweetish slightly caramellized aroma. Dryish light palate, mild sweet caramel hints, fairly dry finish.

Bottle at LaVelle’s Bistro, Fairbanks AK. Yellow with no activity but a soapy head. Also brought a musty soapy character with a bitter sappy twitch. Wrong texture and wrong balance. Cookie dough aroma.
