Apr 20, 2003 This is a very nice brew.I just wish i had more then one of them "sigh" oh well work with what ya got right.Very dark color near opaque but some light goes through it.Nice creamy head,aroma was very malty,chocolate,coffee,and slightly sweet smelling.flavor was very good coffee,chocolate taste hops show up in the taste as well as the after taste.this is definately a brew i wish i had more access to it's worth having more of around.

Aug 4, 2002 Black but not opaque. Tan head. Big roasty nose. Coffee, toffee, grass. Lighter than stout but creamy, slightly soapy.

Mar 3, 2003 Porters - sometimes I don't know what to expect - especially for the palate - will it be thin and prickly or vinous? Well this one is Creamy - very full flavored and soft. Lightly roasted, sweet milk chocolate with a shorter dry hop finish. Deep brown with light tan head, excellent lacing.
