Nose of banana and cloves, Smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is very much to type with lots of fruit and spicy flavors and a finish that mirrors the flavor. They seem to have nailed this with the bottling, as this was pretty darned good. BuckeyeBoy (1659), Boise, Idaho, USA

Pours dark yellow transparent with a decent white head. Flavor is esters, some spices, bready malt, not the usual Hefe. Interesting, but weak overall. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2006 Spicy toasted maltiness is very present, tastes like cereal, a nice breakfast beer. Some nice acidity, with a lingering hazy yeastiness in the finish, that closes out with some generous fruitiness.
