DA (2586), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Oct 31, 2008 Grapefruit hops, crisp and floral. Amber body, good clarity, with a tall white head. Pretty decent IPA overall, not much for the malts up front, focused on the citrusy grapefruit hops the whole way. carboloader (301), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2008 Pours amber with small white head. Traditional cascade-style piney, fruity, spruce hops. Only 40 IBUs makes it more of an APA to me though. Decent malt backbone for the style. Decent, but not great. Aroma – Nice Hops nose with a lots of pale and amber malt.
Appearance – Golden Amber in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – Lots of IPA flavor. Both with the bitter and fruity hops this was a fine beer to drink.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, great texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – This was a great IPA. I liked this beer lots of hops and citrus flavors. .
ABUSEDGOAT (1924), California, USA Jan 17, 2008 Slightly darker amber. Aroma is PNW hops with some caramel, fairly light nondescript aroma though. Medium bodied, moderate to low bitterness, low hop flavor. Flavors felt jumbled, not a very good IPA. BuckeyeBoy (1209), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 23, 2007 on tap at brew pub pours out a nice amber topped with a small head. a nice malt and hop on this IPA
