On tap at Suds and Suds. Average India Pale Ale. Bitter and citrus flavors mixed with a malty background. A bit off in the middle. The Finish is nice and bitter.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clearish medium amber, creamy offwhite head. Nose of melon, very light bitterness, cocoa, lemon, marshmallow. Taste of cream, agave, light butter, mild bitterness, medium body and light bitterness. Easy to drink.

Draft - Hoppy nose, ruddy orange with thick head. Very bitter with a medicinal quality that is just unrefined. Considering how good Hop Fury is from the same brewer a real disappointment.

Cloudy orange color, this IPA is typical standard fare. Cascade and Centennial hop aroma and flavor. Bitter without a solid body. Just not my type.

650ml bottle pours a cloudy pale amber color with a 1 finger head that settles leaving some very thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is light toasted malts and some earthy hops. Taste is bold malty sweetness kind of grainy with some citrus and earthy hop bitterness win the finish which is quite strong. Quite a unique tasting IPA which was an enticing experience.

Another above average beer from the sampler at the brewery. Was not expecting much based on the aroma. But a beautiful gold and clear beer with good white head leads to a very tasty and C-hop NW style IPA.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: Hazy amber body. Large off-white fluffy head. Moderate retention but fairly decent lacing down the glass sides. S: Some orange and grapefruit, a bit of grass and pine. Dull, bready malts fill out the aroma profile from start to finish. T: Lots of malt, too much malt actually. The breadyness drowns out the citric and earthy hops that were at least present in the nose. M: A bit thin in the middle. Carbonation levels were good. Finish is muted and a bit muddled. No bite or crispness. O: A decent, but not memorable IPA. Not something I’d seek out in a bottle.

Bottle. Dark amber. Thin head. Nice hop aroma with plenty of grapefruit. Strong hop flavour. Starts out medicinal, plenty of grapefruit in the middle and a bit of woody roughness and resiny in the finish. Long hop aftertaste. Seems a little unpolished but that may add to its interest.
