This classic Northwest IPA has huge hop spice from Columbus, Cascade and Centennial hops.

Bottle. Pours light amber with a frothy off-white head. Strong resin aroma. Medium body; mild carbonation Flavor is quite bitter. IBU 40? Seems like more. Good bitter finish.

22 oz bomber from Market of Choice. Hazy orange pour with a big, thick white head. Nose was hefty with caramel malt with a bit of citrus fruit tossed in. Flavor much the same, a little too overbalanced towards the maltiness for me, and the hops seemed far too muted for the style. Mediocre offering, a huge disappointment after their tasty fresh hop brew.

Very nice smelling and looking beer, but looks, and apparently smells can be deceiving. Pretty coarse and unbalanced in its bitterness. Nothing special here.

Bomber. Poured cloudy orange with thick foamy white head. Lots of lacing. Faint piney and citrusy head. Rather weak flavour, not full like an IPA. Flavour not unpleasant, just not enough of it. Weak finish.

Amber color with a white head. Pretty decent IPA overall, not a fan of the initial malts up front, enjoyed the citrusy grapefruit hops at the end.

Sampled in a 22. A pretty goo brew. Pour medium brown but still see through able. Thin head that lingers. Drinks crisp. Nice smooth hops. A nice brew!

From a 22 oz bottle this poured an ever so slightly hazy light orange with a very robust white head and good rich lacing rings. Nose is floral, pine, and citrus hops on top of a caramel malt backbone. Very slick mouthfeel. Flavor is bitter with citrus hops dominating. The finish is bitter and the final mouthfeel is slick and nicely bitter.. Overall a very well made and highly drinkable IPA.

Copper with small head. More malt than your average NW IPA, plus a little bit of butterscotch that shouldn’t be there. Citrus hops take over and supply just enough bitterness. OK.

rusty orange. dirty toast crumb nose, caramel malt is noticeable in small amounts, hop character resembles dried pineapple and peaches. Body is moderately astringent, the coarseness is crusty, chunky, nutty, etc. This is not really that good in any respect, the only thing I seem to like is the pungent, dried fruit finish, it’s properly bitter only at the very end after the off-putting caramel malt disappears.

Pours clear amber with a one finger white head and lots of lacings. Aroma is some floral hops. Taste is bitter earthy hops with a kiss of grapefruit. Malts are present but subdued. This beer is about the middle of the APA style. Nice enough just not to style. Easy drinker a bit watery on the palate. I would guess the abv at about 5 to 5.5%. Would make a decent session beer. Just don’t expect the big hops of an IPA. Maybe they were aiming at the English IPA style. This would be very close to that type. Carbonation is fairly light.
