The Sorcerer’s Revenge is a non-traditional Belgian dark strong ale. A complex blend of malts are the soul of this beer with its darkness coming from Midnight Wheat and Belgian Special B. The bubblegum character comes from the Belgian Ardennes yeast strain, the fruitiness from Eldorado, Crystal, and German Brewers Gold hops. You also get a subtle spiciness from coriander and bitter orange peel.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a dark brown color with amber around the edges and a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and yeast. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, fruit and earthy yeast. The finish is syrupy with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.
