Bomber. Pours murky brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, brown sugar with a hint of hops. Medium body, texture a bit watery with fine carbonation. The taste has chocolate, a touch of coffee, nuts and brown sugar with a hint of smoke. Dry finish. Pretty solid.

Bottle back at Tumalo campground. Late eveniing..sky mauve..quater moon . Dark brown ale, light brown thick creamy head. Malty roasted aromas, dark chocolate. Rather milky taste, slightly toasted oat. Lite coffee , dark chocolate:only 65% cacoa. Tastes like a true English porter. Good smooth yet thin ( in style) mouthfeel. Very nice drinkable and lowish alkie.

This poured from the 22 oz bottle a very dark brown tending toward black with a robust foamy tan head and good lacing rings as it very slowly settled. Good head retention. Nose was of roasted malts and floral hops with some coffee notes. Very smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is uncomplicated with chocolate, coffee, and a hint of fruit. Finish is dry. A very easy drinking porter.

Aroma: Dark rich malt with a chocolate and coffee aroma.
Appearance: Brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Rich flavor with a roasty flavor along with chocolate and coffee.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: Very nice Porter this was brewed very well. I liked the finish and the over all flavors.

On tap at Bailey’s in Portland, which is a pretty cool place. Black to dark brown in color. Aroma was roasted, a bit meaty and oaty. Flavor was very thin and watery. Roasted malt with some chocolate and something akin to tobacco. Just ok.

Pours black with a one finger tan head and good amount of lacings. Aroma is dark floral hops. Taste is mild cocoa with a hint of coffee. Malts are dark roasted variety. Mouthfeel is good with an adequete amount of carbonation. Very sessionable Porter with an abv of 4.5%. One of the better beers from Silver Moon Brewing.

22oz bottle. Pours a dark, almost black, brown color with solid head. Very nice roasty nose with chocolate and coffee hints. Taste is very weak and body is thin. The nose on this one promised so much more.
