Lubiere (3408), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 26, 2008 A hazy blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. The aroma is pleasant and citrusy. In mouth, a classy IPA lacking malt, very bitter. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 2007.
kmweaver (2273), Nicaragua Oct 20, 2008 Draft @ Silver Peak. Pours a slightly hazy orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Slightly reserved aroma of mild orange and citrus bitterness. Medium mouthfeel: chewy orange and citrus / earthy bitterness (definitely a mixed hop character), candy sugar, and a slight touch of alcohol present; reserved hop character overall; mildest astringency. Medium finish: bitter citrus and earthiness, and the standard toastiness seen in the finish of most of these lighter Silver Peak beers; nicely dry. BuckeyeBoy (1209), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 4, 2007 Updated: Sep 11, 2008On tap at Silver Peak Reno, NV Pours out a amber topped with a cream head. A nice hop aroma and some caramel as well. A little bitter on the end. ratman197 (2478), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jun 5, 2007 On tap @ Silver Peak poured a cloudy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of earthiness, carmel and a hint of pine. Palate was light to medium bodied smooth and dry. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and pine with a dry bitter finish. dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 28, 2007 A nice aroma, fairly hoppy. A very cloudy almost wheat-beer appearance. Flavor has an immediate crispy zestiness that rises through the nose. A wonderfully bitter finish. Maybe the best I tried.
