Lubiere (3408), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 26, 2008 A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In mouth, a buttery red ale, with cloying notes of diacetyl. Same in aroma. Not my style. On tap at brewpub, August 2007.
kmweaver (2273), Nicaragua Oct 20, 2008 Draft @ Silver Peak. Pours a bright, clear orange-amber color; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Very light aroma: red fruits and a very slight touch of cinnamon. Medium mouthfeel: chewy red fruits, candy sugar, and some basic sweetness upfront; mild mineral and floral bitterness; slight astringency and a bit of boring stickiness; kind of bland, especially for the level of alcohol. Medium finish: as always, very toasty, cereal, and basic red fruits. BuckeyeBoy (1209), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 4, 2007 Updated: Sep 11, 2008On tap at Silver Peak Reno, NV Pours out a nice amber topped with a off white head. Nice roast malt and a little sweetness going on as well. ratman197 (2478), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jun 5, 2007 On tap @ Silver Peak poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of light carmel and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel and fruitiness with a crisp lightly bitter finish. dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 28, 2007 A sweet caramel aroma. Quite nice. Caramel comes through in all stages of this. A pleasant sweet-hop finish. One of their betters in this 11-sampler!!
