Lubiere (3408), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 26, 2008 An lightly hazed amber ale with a thin white head. A rather grainy spent mash aroma and alcoholic’s nad breath. In mouth, a thin beer with no character, diluted malt, a bit of hops. On tap at brewpub, August 2007.
kmweaver (2273), Nicaragua Oct 20, 2008 Draft @ Silver Peak. Pours a clear, bright orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Very light aroma, showing basic red fruits and sugar; dry and minimal. Medium mouthfeel: again, basic dried red fruits and simple sugar upfront; minimal hop presence (touch of minerals); drinkable but very light and straightforward; not one of the better, more generous ambers I’ve had. Medium finish: dry crackers and red fruits. BuckeyeBoy (1209), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 4, 2007 Updated: Sep 11, 2008On tap at Silver Peak Reno, NV Pours out a dark gold topped with a white head. A nice aroma of light hops and grains. Body is thick with some good malt and a little sweetness as well. ratman197 (2478), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jun 5, 2007 On tap @ Silver Peak poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, light carmel and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, bread and a hint of earthiness with a smooth finish. dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 28, 2007 Smells alright. A little thin and not much malt. This is a disappointment for me. Other than it’s stringy characters, there just isn’t much flavor. No distinctive malt or hop notes.
