Commercial Description:
Golden in color, a nice and light beer with barely a touch of honey flavor, not hoppy. A smooth drinking, thirst quenching brew that lends itself to drinking one after another. Brewer said they use 5gal of honey from a local source in a 5bbl batch. At 9300ft elevation here, it goes to your head quickly. They are so proud of their beers here and rightly so. Some really good stuff. Much, much better then what it was like here last summer.

The smell of fermented honey is balanced nicely with estery hop notes. This ale is clear, with a light, golden color, reminiscent of a pilsener-style lager. Upon tasting, the honey makes its presence known, followed by a slight hop bitterness. The finish is clean. This ale seems to please the domestic-beer drinkers and the geeks as well.
