The brewer showed me the brewery, that was very old, rusted and badly needing maintenance. The beers were alright, though. To my utter surprise, the brewery has survived the economic crisis in the former DDR, has been renewed and now brews this type of beer. Ahem. Grainy aroma with apple. Thin grainy apple flavor. Medecinal aftertaste. Just barely drinkable. The former DDR wasn’t all bad..... kappldav123 (1901), Markkleeberg, Germany

Aroma hoppy and dry. Tastes hoppy, but not really dry. The finish is almost vapid. Disappointing!
