Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig. Geschmack hefig, bananig fruchtig, minimal würzig.

It’s light golden, unclear of course and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of yeast, wheat and a touch of fruit/banana. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast, slightly spicy, wheat and fruit/banana, and the finish is slightly spicy too.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized fluffy head. Aroma is fruits, wheat, slightly acidic notes as well as some mild herbs. Flavour is rather much the same with some mild bready notes. Long wheaty semi-acidic wooden aftertaste. Ok brew.

Bottle (Danke, Lindau!): Pale golden to golden, cloudy, lazy carbonation, small and lacy white head; light wheaty-sourish nose, moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied; short sourish-sweetish finish with a wheaty touch. Not bad......

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a short frothy white head. Sweet and yeasty moderately fruity and wheaty aroma with notes of vanilla. Slightly sourish flavour with a tinge of bitterness, light to medium bodied with an almost fizzy carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty taste with a rather restrained fruit-character of mainly citrus-flavour and rising phenolic spices towards the finish. Middle of the road Weizen (26.V.09).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of German Apfelmost/cider, after a hile malty-fruity nose. Medium-bodied, malty background with some wheat and yeast flavours, slightly fruity. Quite distinctive spicy hops, especially in the finish.

Bottled, alc. 5.1% (BB 02/2007). Hazy yellow, small creamy white head. Fruity banana aroma, sourish lemony notes. Crisp, sour, lemony-banana flavoured hefeweizen. Sourish aftertaste. Refreshing and clean.

(Bottled) Very hazy yellow color with a medium, creamy-puffy head. Sweetish, very banana-fruity aroma. Neutral, acidic, fruity flavor with light, fresh wheatiness. Almost medium-bodied, acidic and carbonated palate. A quite balanced and refreshing, light-ish weizen.

Tap. Mostly cloudy and orangish-gold in color with a billowing creamy white head that’s 1.5" tall. Sweet vanilla, sour lemon rinds, sugary bananas and creamy oatmeal form a nearly perfect aroma message with lively cloves and pepper. Light fairing effervescence hits non-confrontationally so that the flavor is brought into focus. Doughy hard rolls, mild vanilla, cloves and banana cream pie are accented by a sprits of citric lemon. Oat out of the mill and banana graham crackers. Margarine-laden lemon-touched crescent rolls and a little clove activity helps to spice a sweet cream movement of whipped vanilla buttercream. Light and brisk with enough citric and creamy accents to keep it at the head of the class. Clover, pepper and vanilla-lemon tootsie rolls play out in the finish. Sweet, sugary dimensions are propped up by the gentle, ever-present spice complex. A real treat, should you be able to find it.
