Bottle: Best before 25/10/2007:
Small quick disappearing white head on top of a very very light hazy, almost clear orange yellow colored beer.
Smell honey, butter, malts, herbs, hints of wood and sweets.
Taste is a soft and smooth mix of butter, sweet, malts, hints of honey, water and light grassy.
Very low malty grassy aftertaste.
Low carbo, low to medium body, soft creamy mouthfeel and a watery texture.

Bottle from Grima, thanks! Pale blonde. Grainy, buttery aroma. Grainy flavor with bitter walnuts and rancid butter. Diacetyl hiding the citrus notes.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Saarlander. Extremely pale yellow with a tall white head. Diacetyl and chestnut in the nose. A lot of diacetyl in the taste. A bit acidic. I didn’t really enjoy this beer. Thanks a lot Aaron!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle conditioned. Gold beaten to the point of transparency under a rocky whip of suds, lacing ornately. Fresh herbal and yeasty aroma pitched halfway between unfiltered German helles and Belgian Blonde or saison; pollen, lime, honey, dung and a dab of butter beckoning the drinker in. Insubstantial beyond with a tickle of herbal hop, honey, houmous, buttered Cream Crackers. The initial spritz burns itself out pretty quickly, but the lace remains. Refreshing and slight. The best Luxembourgian beer I’ve had to date.
