Bottle conditioned. Gold beaten to the point of transparency under a rocky whip of suds, lacing ornately. Fresh herbal and yeasty aroma pitched halfway between unfiltered German helles and Belgian Blonde or saison; pollen, lime, honey, dung and a dab of butter beckoning the drinker in. Insubstantial beyond with a tickle of herbal hop, honey, houmous, buttered Cream Crackers. The initial spritz burns itself out pretty quickly, but the lace remains. Refreshing and slight. The best Luxembourgian beer I’ve had to date.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light hazy yellow coloured beer with some very light carbonation and an average white head. Sweet hoppy aroma, light unraisen dough hints. Medium palate. FInish is sweet-bitter hoppy, with some grassy-grainy hints. Very medium, not my kind of beer.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Auchan. Pours a yellowy, bordering on watery, slightly cloudy, thin white head. Nose is banana and some malt vinegar, with some herb butter, like they serve with the steak at our staff canteen on a friday. Mouth is quite bitter at first, rounding itself with some herb and pepper and a touch of alcohol. Finishes a little wheaty, a little bitter, but very normal. Quite an easy drinker.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A Mes rate:
33cl bottle from Quinns. Dinkel? Was expecting a dunkel and was really freaked out when the pour was almost white. Very very pale yellow, slightly hazy and a thin white head. Aroma is actually reasonably ok. Vanilla and lemon cream with some estery banana underneath. Flavour is papery with some very light hoppage and banana. A little wheat in the finish, Thin and watery. Very dull but drinkable and inoffensive. Next!
