COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Golden coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall white head and some movement for quite a while after pouring. Aroma of alcohol, metal, light malt and hints of fruits - not much though. Light-bodied; Grassy malt flavour with some metal at first, a bit of lemons and a pungent earthy and bitter finish .Aftertaste shows a little rice, grain and the same strong alcohol and metallic finish that wasn’t pleasant earlier on. Overall, not such a great beer, but that was to be expected really. I just wanted to try this one out as a new beer from Luxembourg - but this really isn’t worth trying at all. I sampled this 33 cL gold foil covered top bottle purchased from Alima in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg earlier today for €0,80 sampled today on 17-August-2013 here in my hotel room in Luxembourg City.

Bamsen78 (4454) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops. Bitter flavour of hops with sweetish yeasty and grainy notes. Rough and bitter aftertaste with a skunky note. OK but nothing really impressive. Just average.

Metal bottle, 5.4%. Fruity and lagery aroma. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is grainy and OK malty. A little paper in the finish. Good mouthfeel. A lot better than expected, especially considering the lame packaging.

worldbeertaste (1748) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2013
Clear gold with a thin. Frothy, white, lacy, lasting head. Smells of toasted malt and grain with a general bread tone. A bit of veg, grass with light citrus. Medium thin body with soft carbonation. Tastes of grass, pale malt, grain, dusty hops, and a dry bitter finish. Decent pale lager, smooth and drinkable. Still could use come cleaning up.

McWorta (1051) - LUXEMBOURG - AUG 4, 2013
Sparkling solid golden yellow in colour with an average lasting white head. On the nose aromas of straw, hay, metal and barley develop. Fizzy in the palate for a short moment then the watery light slick texture develops with a mediumish body. Light sweet and faint notes of bitterness to it. Finish is rather unnoticable.

McTapps (5853) - Ruhrcity, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2013
Bottle bought in Wiltz and brought home to Germany. Not that I expected something good from a beer from Luxembourg (hey, you can teach me right), but actually, what I got with this beer was even better than expected. It was drinkable. Pours out in a clear deep golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of white bread. Taste of grains, barley, cereals, straw, grass and unripe apples. Quite refreshing with a medium carbonation and dry finish. Like I said drinkable, but way too average.

In Wiltz erstanden und mit McTapps gestestet. Getreidig Beginn mit leichtem Malz und etwas Bitterkeit zum Schluss. Einfach, ohne große Schnörkel. Für ein Lager jedoch recht trocken und "intensiv". Vollkommen in Ordnung.

Bottled 330ml. -Golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Sweet malty, grainy and herbs with mild notes of hops. Also grainy finish. Not offensive but pretty average and boring.

Svesse (6967) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 19, 2013
(Bottle, Go Ten Café, Luxembourg, 16 Apr 2013) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass, hay and a touch of citrus. Malty, bready taste with notes of grass, hay, hints of citrus and a certain grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Drier and slightly more bitter than the Pils. Clean, crisp and fairly enjoyable.

Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Watery although refreshing. An average beer.
