Bottle. Pours a rustic amber body with an off white head. Poor head retention and a light lacing. Dried fruit and a hint of citrus. Light grapefruit a bit nutty with soft carbonation. A modest malt tone there is a light papery milled malt like note. Hop oxidation and proteins round this one out. Eh.

Pours amber brown with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some good caramel notes. Flavor is ok. Not very hoppy, but pretty good. Not great, not terrible.

Pale amber pour. The nose is a little bit dusty with some light citrus. Very laden with diacetyl which I just can’t get past. Lightly toasted pale malt with a kiss of herbal hops. Assertive bitterness though. Meh.

Bottle from my dad, brought to Germany from Canada. Decent IPA, looks amazing, decent aroma, nice head that dissipates after a little while. A little soapy in the mouth, and missing something, a little sweetness maybe. I dunno, it’s not bad but not amazing.

A nice IPA though with a fairly malty taste that negates a bit of the bitterness that one associates with IPA. I find it well balanced but can also understand why some reviewers were disappointed not to have a more hops dominated flavour.
